My body works with me because I take care of it. This is my home where I live. This is the only clothing that I have to put on me lifelong.
We get one body in this life, we need to look after it. What if you do not? Your life goes down. Everything in life connected with you. If you do not respect your body, it does not respect you and does not collaborate with you.
What does your body want?
We all know that following a healthy diet and exercising on a regular basis is the key. Is that simple?
Does it mean that every fit body has the health and mind connection? More precisely, is it aware of the mind-body connection? Maybe today’s world even the opposite of this situation. The pressure of having a “perfect” body makes us miserable and most of the time unsatisfied with ourselves.
Our body needs acceptance, love, respect, satiation.
If you are able to breathe and walk comfortably you have a reason to be appreciated. Even if you have an obstacle try to focus on what you can. Maybe you are revolting, maybe feeling stuck in a body and thinking that it’s not fair.
It’s hard to be a human. We all feel like this but when you start seeing the beauties, you embellish your life.
Disabled people in sports always inspires me because it shows that motivation is a creator and you have things to do instead of finding excuses.
What we need?
What gives you pleasure? Do you feel the satiation after them? Sports, food, sex, spending time with your friends, partner, and family…
If you are a sport addicted like me, you sometimes feel as if this is your mission. Until I realized that I was really strict about it and did not enjoy same as before, tried to combine my training with some activities (hiking, yoga, cycling, climbing…) and feel the pleasure more than before.
My body is precious and needs to feel special. I try to eat well without going crazy. I think it’s really important to eat well and eating together. If you have someone that you can eat together you really enjoy with the moment that you share. It gives you emotional satisfaction.
According to Ayurveda, these would be food, sleep, and sex. Each plays an important roll in our relationship with ourselves and the world, and whether we realize it or not, each is vital to our ability to achieve a healthy happy life.
You are precious, unique and smart, you can do anything. If you agree with me, you take care of yourself. You can not eat everyday pizza and chips, your body deserves the best. Or having sex randomly with people who you do not know. Every time you get something into your body It changes your mind. That is why we say that you are what you eat.
This is the first step for the mind-body connection. Love yourself. Respect your body. Why should not you be a better you? 🙂
