I am Aisha, a 23 year old Turkish girl, born and raised in Istanbul. Three years ago I moved to Slovenia with my little sister. Healing Breakfast

Why is breakfast important?

The breakfast you choose can affect your mood and productivity. Of course, it makes us happy to start the day with a healthy and delicious breakfast. ­čÖé

Eggs can be a great breakfast option for me.

I love eggs in different ways. I especially like to mix them with different cheeses and herbs, add a little spice and making omelets. Sometimes just to boil and eat them with simple whole wheat bread. I shared an easy and delicious breakfast recipe that I prepared with herbs called Borage.

Now I’m here with one of the ways to bring it to life!

 

Borage with Eggs

  • 500 gr borage, roots cut, cleaned, washed 2 times and drained, boiled until soft ( 1/2 hour) and cut 2cm thick
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 eggs, organic please
  • salt, freshly grounded black pepper and pepper flakes olive oil

I sauteed the onions with my heated olive oil on medium heat until soft.  Added the boiled and sliced borage.

Added the spices and stirred. Then added the eggs and stirred again and cooked until the eggs are done.

After cooking, we ate this very different and special food with pleasure.

Yumurta benim i├žin harika bir kahvalt─▒ se├žece─či olabilir.

Yumurtalar─▒ farkl─▒ ┼čekillerde seviyorum. ├ľzellikle de─či┼čik peynir ve otlar ile kar─▒┼čt─▒rmay─▒, biraz da baharat ekleyerek omlet yapmaya. Bazen sadece kaynat─▒p basit kepekli ekmekle yemeye bay─▒l─▒yorum. Hoda otlar─▒ ile haz─▒rlad─▒─č─▒m kolay ve lezzetli bir kahvalt─▒ tarifi payla┼čt─▒m.

  • 1 orta boy so─čan, zar do─čranm─▒┼č
  • 2 yumurta, do─čal olsun tabii ki
  • tuz, pul biber ve karabiber
  • s─▒zma zeytinya─č─▒

Is─▒tt─▒─č─▒m zeytinya─č─▒nda so─čanlar─▒m─▒ ┼čeffaf olana kadar orta ate┼čte kavurdum.

 

Ha┼članm─▒┼č ve do─čranm─▒┼č hodanlar─▒ ekledim tuz, taze ├žekilmi┼č karabiber ve biraz co┼čku i├žin pul biber ekledim ve kar─▒┼čt─▒rd─▒m.Daha sonra yumurtalar─▒ k─▒rd─▒m ve g├╝zelce kar─▒┼čt─▒rarak yumurtalar olana kadar pi┼čirdim.

Pi┼čtikten sonra bu ├žok farkl─▒ lezzetteki yeme─či afiyetle yedik.
